Jocelyn Cullity is the recipient of a Writers’ Reserve grant from the Ontario Arts Council for her novel Mutiny. Her writing has previously appeared in the anthology Ten Stories High (Canadian Authors Association), Hayden’s Ferry Review, and Room Magazine. She holds a PhD in English from Florida State University and is an Associate Professor in the BFA in Creative Writing program at Truman State University.

Jocelyn Cullity’s recent work of historical fiction is ‘THE ENVY OF PARADISE’ (Inanna Publications, 2019). Her award-winning historical novel ‘AMAH AND THE SILK- WINGED PIGEONS’ (Inanna Publications, 2017) was included in the 2017 International ‘Recommended List of 20 Books’ by The Walter Scott Prize for Historical Fiction, honouring books in the UK, Ireland, and Commonwealth countries.
